The xx-island
The xx is probably the best thing that came out of 2009. Up to today, their debut s/t still remains orgasmic. Not long ago, i happen to come across Untold remix of island. On my first listen, i thought its the weridest thing ever. It sounds like everything but orginal mix of island. But somehow i felt the remix is just so cool. It’s feels like the angsty rebellious twin of Island.
Perhaps my music taste has changed over time.If i heard this 6 months back, i will probably freak out.
